Structural Integrity

The first cardboard chair had to be made using the entire sheet of 4x4' cardboard and it had to support the weight of a full-sized person. Here is a few pictures of mini models I constructed and then the final chair itself. This was my first experience with building furniture and I feel like I got caught up on simply making it support a person's weight. As far as design goes, it is very simplistic and I attempted to just go with that theme by concealing all the structural elements in the underside (which can only be view from flipping it up-side-down)
