Owl Food Truck

Here are my 3 image boards, put together for part of my food truck idea development. I will upload my logo ideas, tag lines, and company names once I scan them in.

Native American theme with mellowed colored, focusing on their strong use of right-angle patterns and symbols. The reason I chose this was because the owl is known in there culture as the "soul bearer" or an omen of death. So my food truck could serve Native American inspired food like quinoa, buffalo stew, cornbread, and/or various dishes using the "3 sisters" (which are their staple foods: beans, corn, squash)

Mexican/ Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) theme with 2 different color scheme options (though I may incorporate both as a 24-hour, night/day schemed truck), focusing on the bright, feisty colors and patterns that you can find in their sugar skulls, pottery, and other objects in their culture. This theme was a spin off of the highly detailed pattern owl logo I did earlier in the project. The food would be traditional celebratory Mexican food for the Day of the Dead.

This theme doesn't really have any history or context.... I just really liked the feel of the doodle/hand drawn illustrations. The color scheme is lighthearted and fun. Some words I used to describe it was Feel-Good, Fun, Whimsical, Doodles, and Floral. After critiquing and discussion, I might incorporate this hand drawn feel to my Mexican theme.
